Itec Connect is focused on an effective and holistic BBBEE policy that identifies opportunities to implement and develop , sustainable empowerment practices. Our ultimate purpose is to foster entrepreneurship in black communities and increase the participation of previously disadvantaged South Africans in the ICT industry mainstream.
Itec Holdings has concluded a broad based empowerment deal with ikamva labantu which sees the company holding a share of 50.1% in Itec Holdings. ikamva labantu is a self-reliant and sustainable community based organisation facilitating positive social change. Its mission is to build the capacity of affiliated community based organisations to achieve effective and efficient delivery of its four core services, including primary health interventions, education and skills development, food security and enterprise development.
"Itec Connect Group have entered into an agreement with Motlekar Holdings, a 100% black owned private equity investment and advisory house, to form Itec Motlekar (Pty) Ltd. Itec Connect Group has a level 4 BBBEE rating with a level 2 value added procurement status."
