Business Day: Itec's R230m empowerment deal helps needy

OFFICE equipment supplier Itec Holdings has concluded a R230m black empowerment deal with a nonprofit organisation working to improve the lives of children, youths, the elderly and the disabled.The Ikamva Labantu Empowerment Trust has bought 50,1% of Itec, and will use its share of the profit Itec generates to help community bodies.
